Japanese Matcha is tea leaves that have been ground to a fine powder. This standard grade of Matcha is from Uji, one of the oldest areas of tea cultivation in Japan, is perfect for cooking, adding to salads, soups, ice cream or making green tea lattes. Matcha is shade grown to allow the tea leaves to develop a sweet flavour. This Matcha has been produced without the use of artificial fertilisers or pesticides.
